Reiki can be done in person or at a distance. Distant Reiki is based on the principle that energy can be “tuned” to the individual receiving it. Once this tuning takes place, distance does not affect its effectiveness, similar to how internet and phone communications work without geographic limitations. The energy surrounding us facilitates the transfer of these energies to the intended recipient, with the practitioner serving as a conduit for this energy.
What is a Distance Reiki session like?
Both of us will be present online or by phone during your distant Reiki session. To begin, you will find a quiet space where you can relax. I will start the session by summarizing the hand positions I will use to help you better focus on the area where energy is directed. Our combined focus on a specific location will create a flow of energy in that region. I will gently guide you through the process and explain each step as I go along. You're welcome to describe what you are feeling, or you can remain quiet, encouraging greater relaxation and enhancing your body's healing ability. Once the session concludes, I will disconnect, allowing you to relax and continue fully integrating the energy for your healing.

These experiences are typical during a session, but Reiki works subtly, so you shouldn’t worry about sensations being absent if you do not experience any of the above.
